Partner Programs

Wyoming Parents as Teachers is an evidence-based home visiting program, delivered at no cost to all qualifying families. 

We actively engage families to ensure their children are healthy, safe, learning and ready for kindergarten. 

Our services are delivered by Family Support Specialists who partner, facilitate and reflect with families in order to understand and support their unique strengths. 

We currently offer programs in the following Wyoming counties:

  • Albany

  • Campbell

  • Carbon

  • Fremont

  • Hot Springs 

  • Laramie

  • Natrona

  • Sweetwater

Wyoming Child Death Review and Prevention Team seeks to improve Wyoming's prevention of and responses to major injuries and fatalities of children. They make recommendations for change through prevention, intervention, training, education, legislation and public policy.

The Wyoming Children's Justice Act Task Force (WCJA) utilizes interdisciplinary and interagency collaborations with knowledge of and experience in different realms of the child welfare system. The WCJA Task Force is coordinated by the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS) and the Wyoming Citizen Review Panel (WyCRP). 

The Wyoming Youth Advisory Council’s mission is to represent Wyoming’s foster youth's interests in various spheres, such as recommendations for policy changes, and to help influence program development and resource allocation. WYAC strives to empower foster youth with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. Their efforts are creating sustainable changes that will benefit future generations of foster youth in Wyoming.
